SLMTO loves being able to provide excited individuals with the final touches that they need for their costumes. Keep reading for a few of the reasons that you absolutely need to add a pair of colored contacts to your cosplay costume.
Get in Character
The entire purpose of your cosplay costume is to embody the character that you're dressing up as. Regardless of if you've been designing your cosplay piece on your own or you've purchased it, money and time have been invested into ensuring that you fit the part. Don't let the tiny detail of your character's eye color be something that you forgot about. Depending on who you're going as this could be a significant feature and aspect to dressing up like them, so the last thing that you want is to forget about it.
Go All Out
There aren't too many times where you're going to be able to completely invest yourself in a costume that you've either designed or purchased. Comic-Con is not something that happens every day, and it's definitely not something that everyone is able to attend every year. Whether this is your first time attending Comic-Con or you've been a handful of times, you absolutely need to go all out! This is the time and place where going all out on a costume will always pay off.
The energy at Comic-Con is something else. Of course, there are a few people here and there that choose not to dress up. For the most part, however, you're going to come across people that have gone all out and spent some serious time finishing their costumes. Not only are they dressed like their favorite characters, but they're also dropping famous lines and genuinely embodying the quirks and characteristics of the individual they're dressed as.
While it might be intimidating to go all in your first go around at Comic-Con, it won't take long for you to warm up to the people and the energy. Once that happens, you'll want nothing more than to be completely decked out as your character.
Everyone Else is Doing It
Alright, we aren't going to get into the whole friends jumping off a bridge metaphor here, but when it comes to colored contacts, this is something that everyone at Comic-Con is doing. Whether you've never used colored contacts, you feel like it might be too much, or you're not wanting to go over the top with your costume, just know that a majority of those dressed up at Comic-Con have incorporated colored contacts into their costume, and it's totally normal to do so.
